Tara Eden Pearl

Ms. Pearl is the founder of The Pearl Group.  She is a specialist in cultivating synergistic relationships, business development, corporate operations and the art of negotiation.  Ms. Pearl is responsible for the Nation's Futon Industry, with sales of $300 billion. 

Prior to starting The Pearl Group, her company invented the "Americanized Futon," quickly climbing to sales of over $10 million.  For 11 years, her operation set the standards and led the industry in product development, manufacturing, sales, wholesale, distribution, retail, mail order, importing and exporting.  In conjunction, Ms. Pearl owned and operated two other successful companies; a business development consulting practice, for which she traveled internationally developing business relationships with domestic and foreign concerns, and a high profile European furniture designer, importer and retailer. 

Ms. Pearl's hands-on involvement in all arenas including: product design and development, marketing, advertising, finance, sales, manufacturing and corporate operations. She has developed her unique abilities in the constant evaluation, gauging, plotting and growth regulation of a company and its industry. She has designed, developed and internationally marketed over 200 products.  

Ms. Pearl has tremendous energy and the ability to inculcate in others a "get on board" philosophy.  She has a keen sense of interpersonal dynamics. Her leadership imparts direction and guidance, while generating participation and initiative in others.  Ms. Pearl brings over a decade of experience in all areas of running a business to bear in her situational analyses. 

Ms. Pearl represented the "Future of Business" at the elite World Management Congress chaired by David Rockefeller.  The theme of this one hundred and ninety-five member congress was the charting of this country's trade in the European Community after 1992.  Ms. Pearl has also addressed many college audiences and entrepreneurial groups and has provided the parameters for the determination of final grades for the business plans in several M.B.A. programs.

Ms. Pearl has received nominations for the Chivas Regal Young Entrepreneur Award, Entrepreneur of the Year and the U.S. Small Business Award.  The prep school of Princeton University, the Hun School, nominated her as their second distinguished alumni. 

Some of the credits attributed to Ms. Pearl and her organizations have been:  the cover story of the national Entrepreneurial Woman magazine, the cover story of nationally syndicated The Tribune's pull‑out business section, "Money Works," a nationally syndicated television program, and the CBS television program "Two on Two."
